Jackie R. Clowers was born and raised in Knoxville, Tennessee. He earned a B.S. in Communications from the University of Tennessee. Following undergrad, he moved to Louisville to attend law school at the University of Louisville Brandeis School of Law. He graduated with his J.D. degree in 2012.
He began his career as a litigation attorney focused on insurance defense with Waters, Tyler, Hofmann & Scott. Jackie sought to enhance the breadth of his legal knowledge, shifting his focus to commercial and real estate litigation at a larger firm in Jeffersonville, Indiana. While there, he began to assist clients with probate matters and estate planning.
Jackie excitedly re-joined WTHS in 2024 as a partner. He joined the estate planning and business area where he will leverage his planning and litigation abilities to assist clients with preparing for and dealing with issues that come up now, and in the future.
Jackie is licensed to practice in both Indiana and Kentucky. He enjoys the interpersonal meetings with individuals and business owners to discuss the best personalized strategies that will make it easier to solve today’s issues, while putting a plan in place to mitigate future issues.
Jackie moved to Southern Indiana shortly after law school and has enjoyed living there ever since. He now resides in Sellersburg with his wife, Carli, and his four children: Adaline, Estelle, Lucille and Levi.
In his spare time, he enjoys watching sports (particularly his alma mater Tennessee), running, traveling, and coaching his children’s sports teams. He is a member of Eastside Christian Church in Jeffersonville.
