Scott Waters, IV is a distinguished attorney and a partner of the firm. He practices in New Albany, Indiana, and his areas of expertise include Estate Planning and Administration, Probate, Probate Avoidance, Legacy Planning; and Corporate Planning, Formation, and Succession.
Scott was admitted to the Indiana Bar in 1980 and the Kentucky Bar in 1991. He completed his Bachelor’s degree with distinction from Purdue University in 1976 in business and earned his Juris Doctor (J.D.) from Indiana University in 1980.
Throughout his career, Scott has been an active member of several professional associations. He served as the President of the Southern Indiana Estate Planning Counsel from 2005-2006. He was also a three-term board member of the American Health Lawyers Association.
Scott frequently speaks at various estate planning seminars annually. His dedication to his profession is evident in his commitment to his clients and his contributions to the legal community.
On a personal note, Scott was born in 1954. He is married to Anne and is a proud father of four daughters: Mallery, Megan, Michelle, and Molly. He is also a doting grandfather to eight grandchildren. In his spare time, Scott enjoys family activities, kayaking, fishing, and golf.
