Calvin A. Blank is an associate trial attorney based in New Albany, Indiana. Calvin focuses his practice in insurance litigation, personal injury defense, commercial litigation, probate and trust litigation, as well as estate planning.
Calvin was admitted to the Indiana Bar in 2021 after graduating from Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law. While in law school, Calvin clerked at the Indiana Supreme Court Disciplinary Commission and worked in the law school’s Wrongful Conviction Clinic.
Prior to joining the team at Waters, Tyler, Hofmann & Scott, Calvin honed his trial skills by working as a Deputy Prosecutor in Clark County, Indiana. During his time as a prosecutor, he handled cases ranging from misdemeanors like driving infractions, all the way up to felonies, such as murder.
Calvin was born and raised in Terre Haute, Indiana. He earned his undergraduate degree in Biology from Indiana State University. While at Indiana State, Calvin was the tight end on the football team, earning 3 Letters and the 2018 Missouri Valley Conference Commissioner Academic Excellence Award.
Calvin is married; he and his wife have one daughter. Calvin is an avid golfer with hopes of qualifying for the US Mid-Amateur one day. Calvin also enjoys spending his free time boating, reading, and cheering on his beloved Indiana State Sycamores and Boston Celtics.
